Power Steering Hose - Removal

Pressure Hose

PRESSURE HOSE

1. Siphon the fluid from the power steering pump reservoir (1).
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Remove the left front wheel.
4. Remove the inner fender   See: Body and Frame/Fender/Front Fender/Service and Repair/Front Fender - Removal
5. Remove the return hose (5) at the gear to gain access to the pressure hose (4).
6. Remove the pressure hose (4) at the gear.
7. Disconnect the pressure hose from the retainer at the crossmember.
8. Remove the pressure hose (4) at the pump pressure hose extension (6).
9. Remove the pressure hose (4) from the vehicle.

Return Hose

RETURN HOSE

1. Siphon the fluid from the power steering pump reservoir (1).
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Remove the left front wheel.
4. Remove the inner wheel well   See: Body and Frame/Fender/Front Fender/Front Fender Liner/Description and Operation
5. Disconnect the return hose from the retainer at the crossmember.
6. Remove the return hose (5) at the gear.
7. Remove the return hose (5) at the reservoir (1).
8. Remove the return hose from the vehicle.
