Seal - Removal
REMOVAL
FRONT HUB SEAL
1. Remove the transmission from the vehicle. See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal.
NOTE: For ease of removal, install two M10x1.5 in. bolts into the damper. Grasp the bolts while removing.
2. Remove the transmission damper (1) from the transmission (2) by pulling the damper until the center hub clears the oil pump seal.
3. Remove the front seal snap ring (1) from the damper housing (2).
