Brake and/or Accelerator Pedals - Installation
WITH 5.7L HEV
NOTE: When replacing the brake pedal assembly, the Anti-Lock Brake Module (ABM) must be initialized using the scan tool. To initialize
the ABM perform the ABS VERIFICATION TEST - HEV, See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control Systems/Testing and
Inspection/Diagnostic Trouble Code Tests and Associated Procedures/Verification Tests/ABS Verification Test .
1. With the brake pedal assembly forward mounting bolt (2 ) installed 1/2 way, guide the brake pedal assembly onto the slot (3) and slide the brake
pedal assembly forward over the bolt (2) and the brake booster studs. Do not tighten at this time.
