6. Install the vibration damper bolt finger tight. Using a suitable socket and breaker bar, rotate the crankshaft to align timing chain sprockets and
keyways as shown.
7. Retract the tensioner shoe (1) with pliers (2) until the hole in shoe lines up with the hole in bracket.
8. Install the Tensioner Pin 8514 (1) into the holes.
9. Remove the timing chain tensioner retaining bolts (3) and remove the timing chain tensioner (2).
10. Inspect the timing chain tensioner and replace as necessary.
