Hybrid Power Control Module: Service and Repair
Battery Pack Control Module - Removal
REMOVAL
WARNING: On vehicles equipped with the high voltage system, you must thoroughly read and follow all High Voltage Safety procedures. In
addition, before performing any diagnostic or service procedure near a high voltage component, you must perform the High
Voltage Power Down. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury See: Battery System, Hybrid
Drive/Service Precautions
1. Remove the high voltage battery cover See: Battery System, Hybrid Drive/Hybrid Battery Cover/Service and Repair/High Voltage Battery Cover -
Removal.
2. Remove the rear seat See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Seat, Front/Seat - Removal.
3. Remove the current sensor See: Battery System, Hybrid Drive/Battery Current Sensor/Service and Repair/High Voltage Current Sensor - Removal.
4. Remove the positive contactor assembly See: Drive Motor Power Relay/Service and Repair/High Voltage Positive Contactor - Removal.
5. Remove and disconnect the battery pack control module.
6. Remove the battery pack control module mounting brackets.
