For 1989 Model Cars

Remove the J-25 (18 YL/RD) terminal from cavity #24 of the steering column connector and remove the M-lE (18 PK) terminal from cavity #25
of the steering column connector. Then reinstall the J-25 (18 YL/RD) terminal into cavity #25 of the steering column connector and reinstall the
M-1E (18 PK) terminal into cavity #24 of the steering column connector. See Figure 2.

5.

Reconnect the two-way ignition key lamp connector to the 25-way steering column connector.

6.

Reconnect the negative battery cable.

7.

Check for normal operation of the ignition key lamp.
