Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor: Service and Repair
Throttle Body Temperature Sensor replacement
1. Remove air cleaner, then disconnect throttle cables from throttle body linkage.
2. Remove two throttle cable bracket attaching screws, then position bracket aside.
3. Disconnect electrical connector, then unscrew sensor.
4. Apply heat transfer compound to tip of new sensor.
5. Install new sensor, then torque to 80---120 inch lbs.
6. Reconnect electrical connector, then install throttle cable bracket with attaching screws.
7. Connect throttle cables to throttle body linkage, then install retaining clips.
8. Install air cleaner.
