Cruise Control Servo: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Remove two nuts attaching throttle cable to servo.
2. Pull cable away from servo to expose retaining clip and remove clip attaching cable to servo.
3. Remove two screws attaching servo mounting bracket to U-nuts on battery tray.
4. Remove servo mounting bracket.
5. Disconnect electrical connector and vacuum hose.
INSTALLATION
1. Connect vacuum hose to reservoir.
2. Connect electrical connector.
3. Position mounting bracket, install two screws attaching bracket to battery tray and tighten to 105 in. lbs. (12 N-m).
4. With throttle in full open position align hole in throttle cable sleeve with hole in servo pin and install retaining clip.
5. Secure throttle cable to servo studs with two nuts and tighten to 80 in lbs. (9 N-m).
