1. Remove coil pack and plug wires.
2. Remove valve cover bolts, then valve cover.
3. Remove ground strap.
4. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Install new valve cover gaskets.
b. Install valve cover bolts in sequence, Fig. 9, then torque bolts in three steps, first to 40 inch lbs., then to 6.7 ft. lbs., and finally to 8.75 ft. lbs.
