All-Wheel Drive Solenoids
CIRCUIT OPERATION
The All-Wheel Drive (AWD) solenoids are used to disconnect the AWD system when the vehicle is placed in REVERSE.
Power for the solenoids is supplied on circuit L1. This circuit is HOT when the vehicle is placed in REVERSE.
The L1 circuit is the feed for the back-up lamps. Ground for the solenoids is supplied on circuit Z1.
