Valve Body: Service and Repair
31TH 3-Speed
1. Loosen transaxle oil pan attaching bolts, allow transaxle to drain, then remove oil pan.
2. Remove oil filter attaching screws, then oil filter.
3. Using a screwdriver, remove E-clip, then remove parking rod.
4. Remove neutral safety switch and back-up lamp switch.
5. Remove seven valve body attaching bolts, then remove valve body and governor oil tubes.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten fasteners to specifications.
