Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Electronic: Service and Repair
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove air cleaner assembly.
2.
Disconnect four pin connector from AIS, then remove temperature sending unit from throttle body housing.
3.
Remove two AIS to throttle body torx head retaining screws.
4.
Remove AIS from throttle body housing with O-ring.
5.
Reverse procedure to install. Install new O-ring and torque retaining screws to 20 inch lbs.
