CAUTION: Damage to the power sliding door and drive assembly can result from improper alignment of the drive cable. Insure the drive
cable (1) is positioned on the cable guide (2) at the front of the drive assembly (3).
14. Position the side impact sensor (3) to the top of the lower sliding door channel panel.
15. Align the anti-rotation pin on the base of the sensor with the clearance hole in the lower sliding door channel panel, then press down on the sensor
firmly and evenly to snap the pin into place.
16. Install and tighten the screw (2) that secures the side impact sensor to the lower sliding door channel panel. Tighten the screw to 9 Nm (80 in. lbs.).
17. Install the power sliding door wire harness.
a. Position the wire harness (4) into the track cavity and install the pushpin clips (3) located under the drive assembly.
b. Connect the side impact sensor electrical connector (5).
c. If the door harness B-Pillar connector was disconnected, reconnect it at this time (1).
18. Position the power sliding door wire harness chain link (1) onto the mounting pin on the lower side of the sliding door lower hinge. Push locking
tab rearward to secure the rear harness chain link clip (2).
