3. Position the front latch (2) inside the sliding door.
4. Install the front latch mounting fasteners (3).
5. Verify proper operation of the sliding door.
6. Install the sliding door trim panel.See: Sliding Door Interior Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Sliding Door Trim Panel/Installation.
7. Connect the battery negative cable.

Removal

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the sliding door trim panel.See: Sliding Door Interior Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Sliding Door Trim Panel/Removal.
3. Remove the door module assembly.See: Power Sliding Door Module/Service and Repair/Sliding Door Module Door - Removal.
4. Remove the cinch motor.See: Power Sliding Door Motor/Service and Repair/Removal.
5. Remove the actuator.See: Sliding Door Handle/Service and Repair/Actuator-Inside Handle/Removal.
6. Remove the latch/lock assembly from the door module.

Installation

INSTALLATION

1. Install the latch/lock assembly to the door module assembly.
2. Install the actuator to the latch/lock assembly.See: Sliding Door Handle/Service and Repair/Actuator-Inside Handle/Installation.
3. Install the cinch motor.See: Power Sliding Door Motor/Service and Repair/Installation.
4. Install the door module assembly.See: Power Sliding Door Module/Service and Repair/Sliding Door Module Door - Installation.
5. Install the sliding door trim panel.See: Sliding Door Interior Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Sliding Door Trim Panel/Installation.
6. Verify the sliding door operation and adjust as necessary.
