2. Remove the air filter housing from the vehicle to gain access to the high pressure discharge port (Figure 1).
3. Using a refrigerant recovery machine, remove the refrigerant from the A/C system.
NOTE:
Follow the A/C recovery machine manufacturer's refrigerant recovery instructions. Also, note how much oil was removed during evacuation.
4. Remove the nut that secures the A/C discharge hose to the condenser tapping block located on the condenser (Figure 2).
5. Disconnect the A/C discharge hose from the A/C condenser.
