Power Sliding Door Module: Service and Repair
Sliding Door Module Door - Removal
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the interior door handle bezel.See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Sliding Door/Sliding Door Interior Trim
Panel/Service and Repair/Door - Sliding/Removal.
3. Remove the upper rear molding assembly.
4. Remove the door trim panel.See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Sliding Door/Sliding Door Interior Trim Panel/Service and
Repair/Sliding Door Trim Panel/Removal.
5. Remove the door glass.See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Sliding Door/Sliding Door Window Glass/Service and
Repair/Removal.
6. Remove the front latch screws.
7. Remove the rear latch screws.
8. Remove lower glass channel screws.
9. Disconnect the lower electrical connector.
10. Disconnect the exterior door handle cable.
11. Remove the hold open latch.See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Sliding Door/Sliding Door Hold-Open Latch/Service and
Repair/Latch-Hold Open/Removal.
12. Remove the door module mounting fasteners (1).
13. Remove the door module (3) by lowering the front of the module and raising the rear while gently pulling the door module up and out.
