9. Remove the two bolts (2) and one nut (1) securing the battery tray (3) to the left frame rail (4).

10. Lift the battery tray off the mounting stud.
11. Remove clamp attaching return hose (5) from gear at return hose (2) to cooler. Separate hoses.
12. Remove return hose (5) from vehicle.

Return Hose - Cooler To Reservoir

COOLER TO RESERVOIR

1. Remove negative (-) battery cable from battery and isolate cable.
2. Remove cap from power steering fluid reservoir.
3. Using a siphon pump, remove as much power steering fluid as possible from power steering fluid reservoir.
