1. Place return hose into engine compartment using reverse order of removal.
2. Install return hose routing clamp over battery tray mounting stud.
3. Install return hose (2) to cooler over return hose (5) from gear tube. Slide hose clamp into position on fluid reservoir and attach it. Be sure hose

clamp is installed past bead on fluid reservoir fitting. 

4. Place the battery tray (3) into mounted position.
5. Install the one nut (1) and two bolts (2) securing the battery tray (3) to the frame rail (4).
6. Tighten the nut to 12 Nm (105 in. lbs.).
7. Tighten the bolts to 12 Nm (105 in. lbs.).
8. Install the battery.See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Battery - Installation.
9. Raise and support vehicle.See: Wheels and Tires/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair

NOTE: Before installing power steering return hose on power steering gear, wipe clean connection with a lint-free cloth and replace
O-ring. Lubricate O-ring using clean power steering fluid.

10. Install return hose (5) into power steering gear (3) port. Thread pressure hose tube nut into gear, but do not tighten at this time.
11. Position return hose routing clamp and install screw (1) securing return hose routing clamp to rear of ABS support bracket. Tighten screw to 8 Nm

(71 in. lbs.).

12. Tighten return hose (5) tube nut at steering gear (3) to 31 Nm (23 ft. lbs.).
13. Lower vehicle.
14. Install negative (-) battery cable on negative battery post.
15. Fill and bleed power steering system.See: Power Steering Bleeding/Service and Repair
16. Inspect for leaks.
