NOTE:

This Bulletin applies to vehicle equipped with AM/FM CD DVD Video/Audio, MP3 Radio. (Sales code REV)

NOTE:

Audio and Video system function tests should be performed during New Vehicle Prep

DISCUSSION:

DVD Audio headphones may not work due to the Video Entertainment System being in the wrong mode. In order for the headphones to function, the
MODE button on the remote should be pushed and released until the mode changes to the "Video Entertainment System" and it starts playing.
Headphones will now work. Once this procedure is performed, it should not occur again.

NOTE:

If the above procedure was not successful:

a.

Verify battery condition in remote control and headphones

b.

Verify headphones are turned on

c.

Point remote control at radio faceplate, not the display screen
