3. If the vehicle is equipped with traction control, remove the lower shroud-to-column mounting screw (Figure 2).

4. If the vehicle is equipped with traction control, disconnect the switch wiring connector from the column wiring harness (Figure 3).
5. If the vehicle is equipped with power foldaway mirrors, disconnect wiring connector at mirror switch pig tail.
6. Remove the upper shroud from the steering column.
