Cabin Air Filter: Description and Operation
Particulate Air Filter
A dust and odor air filter is standard equipment on models equipped with the three zone temperature control systems. The filter element is the same size
as the front A/C evaporator to ensure ample filtering capacity. A removable door on the bottom of the front HVAC housing below the glove box
provides easy access to the filter element for replacement. The filter should be checked and replaced at least once every 24,000 km (15,000 miles) and
checked if heater-A/C system performance seems lower than expected.
