Sliding Door Binding When Fully Opened
OVERVIEW:
This involves inspecting the right and/or left sliding door operation and if necessary connecting the sliding door latch cable to the interior door handle,
replacing the interior sliding door handle and/or adjusting the sliding door latch position.

NOTE:
This bulletin applies to vehicles built before August, 05, 2010 (MDH0805XX).
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The customer may experience the sliding door binding on the right and/or left side striker when in the full open position and closing from the inside
handle. This will require higher efforts to release the hold open latch to close the door.
DIAGNOSIS:
1. Open the right and/or left sliding door to the full open position. Does the sliding door stay in the full open (latched) position or is excessive force
required to close the door using the interior door handle?
a. Yes >>> Proceed to the repair procedure.
b. No >>> Further diagnosis required, this bulletin does not apply.
