Grand Caravan V6-3.8L (2009)
NOTE: On leather trimmed seats, cushion cover can be removed from the cushion foam pad. On cloth trimmed seats, the cushion cover does
not separate from the foam pad.
1. Remove seat from vehicle. See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Seats, First Row/Seat - Removal
2. Remove screws fastening rear grocery bag holders.
3. Remove inboard and outboard recliner covers.
4. Using a special tool C-4755, remove pull strap bezel.
5. Unzip both sides of the seat covers.
6. Disengage seat cushion cover J-straps from cushion pan panel.
7. Remove cover and foam from cushion pan panel.
Third Row
REMOVAL
1. Refer to See: Description and Operation/Seats, Third Row, Power Folding for seat exploded views and call outs.
2. Remove the seat from the vehicle and place it on a workbench See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Seats, First Row/Seat -
Removal.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the seat back recliner motor.
4. Remove the seat back See: Seat Back/Service and Repair/Seat Back - Removal.
5. Unzip both the outboard and inboard side of the seat cushion cover.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the seat back recliner switch located inside of the seat cushion cover, on the outboard bolster.
CAUTION: Do not remove the seat cushion and cover assembly from the seat cushion frame before disconnecting the seat back recliner switch
electrical connector. Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the recliner switch and wire harness connector.
7. Remove the seat cushion and cover from the seat cushion frame as an assembly.
8. If required, remove the the seat back recliner switch from the seat cushion cover See: Power Seat Switch/Service and Repair/Power Seat Switch -
Removal.
