Braking Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair
Brake Pedal Position Sensor - Installation
INSTALLATION
1. Connect wiring connector to brake pedal position sensor.
2. Align slot with pin and place sensor into mounting position.
3. Install two mounting screws. Tighten screws to 1.5 Nm (13 in. lbs.).
4. Perform ABS Verification Test and check operation of pedals See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control Systems/Testing and
Inspection/Diagnostic Trouble Code Tests and Associated Procedures/Verification Tests/ABS Verification Test.
