Suspension Spring ( Coil / Leaf ): Service and Repair
Rear Suspension - Coil Spring(s) - Removal
REMOVAL
NOTE: Before proceeding, See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings.
1. Raise and support vehicle. See: Wheels and Tires/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair
2. On each side of vehicle, remove wheel mounting nuts (3), then rear tire and wheel assembly (1).
3. Position transmission jack or equivalent under center of axle raising it enough to support axle.
4. Remove bolt (3) and nut securing track bar (2) to axle (4).
