Figure 1 Rear Floor Distribution And Adapter Ducts
Installation - Rear
INSTALLATION
1. If removed, install the rear floor adapter duct onto the rear HVAC housing. Make sure the duct is fully engaged to the housing.
2. Install the rear floor distribution duct to rear floor adapter duct. Make sure the ducts are fully engaged to each other.
3. Install the two screws that secure the rear floor distribution duct to the right inner quarter panel. Tighten the screws to 2.2 Nm (20 in.lbs.).
4. Install the right D-pillar and rear quarter panel trim.
Removal - Rear
REMOVAL
NOTE: Illustrations shown with quarter panel trim removed for clarity.
1. Remove the right D-pillar trim panel.
2. Slide the upper rear ceiling distribution duct upward and disengage it from the lower rear ceiling distribution duct (Figure 1).
3. Pull the bottom end of the upper rear ceiling distribution duct away from the lower rear ceiling distribution duct and disengage the upper duct from
the duct located in the headliner.
4. Remove the upper rear ceiling distribution duct from the vehicle.
