31. Raise and support the vehicle.
32. Remove the tape or plugs from the liquid front extension line fitting and the underbody liquid line fitting.
33. Lubricate a new rubber O-ring seal with clean refrigerant oil and install it on the underbody liquid line fitting.
34. Connect the A/C liquid front extension line to the underbody liquid line. Tighten the fitting to 23 Nm (17 ft.lbs.).
35. Lower the vehicle.
36. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
37. Evacuate the refrigerant system.
38. Charge the refrigerant system.
