NOTE:

It may be necessary to replace the 0-rings on the A/C lines if damaged. Use part number 05072461AB and 04882137

NOTE:

**Add the appropriate type and amount of PAG oil for Rear Evaporator Replacement as found in the service procedures located in
DealerCONNECT/TechCONNECT.**

2. Inspect the two rear A/C extension tubes (3) for signs of corrosion (Fig. 1).

3. **Are the rear A/C extension tubes corroded?**

a. YES >>> Replace the rear A/C extension tubes (p/n 5183256AA). It may be necessary to replace the 0-rings on the A/C lines if damaged. Use

part number 05072461AB and 04882137 and then proceed to Step # 4.

b. NO >>> Proceed to Step # 4.

NOTE:

**DO not replace the extension tubes for general (light) corrosion. Pay close attention around the sealing areas. **

4.

Re-charge the A/C system. Follow the detailed service procedures available in DealerCONNECT/TechCONNECT, Refer To Group 24 - Heating &
Air Conditioning > Plumbing, Front > Standard Procedure - Refrigerant System Charge.

5. Top off the engine coolant as required.

Reimbursable within the provisions of the warranty. Refer to Warranty Bulletin D-09-21.
