Canister Purge Solenoid: Description and Operation
Description

DESCRIPTION

All vehicles use a proportional purge solenoid (Figure 1). The solenoid regulates the rate of vapor flow from the EVAP canister to the throttle body. The
PCM operates the solenoid.
