Lateral Stabilizer Rod: Service and Repair
Installation
INSTALLATION
1. Install the track bar first into the body bracket for the track bar (Figure 1). Install the track bar mounting bolt in the direction shown, then install
the nut. Do not tighten at this time.
2. Install the track bar into its mounting bracket on the rear axle (Figure 1). Install the track bar mounting bolt in the direction shown, then install the
nut. Do not tighten at this time.
3. Lower the vehicle to the ground until the full weight of the vehicle is supported by the wheels. Tighten both track bar mounting bolts to 95 Nm (70
ft. lbs.) torque.
