Antenna Mast: Testing and Inspection
ANTENNA BODY AND CABLE
The special tool 997 is used to isolate the antenna system to diagnose the cause of poor radio reception.
1. Using special tool 9977 replace the instrument panel cable and antenna mast. Test the radio reception. If ok refer to STEP 2. If not OK replace the

2. Using special tool replace the antenna mast and test the radio reception. If OK replace the antenna.See: Service and Repair/Antenna Mast -
Removal. If not OK STEP 3.
3. Using the special tool replace the instrument panel cable and test the radio reception. If OK replace the instrument panel cable.See: Service and
Repair/Antenna Mast - Removal.
