Front Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair
Front Door Window Regulator - Installation

INSTALLATION

NOTE: Left side shown in illustrations. Right side similar.

1. If servicing the window regulator, position the window regulator rails (1) to the carrier plate (2) and install the four retaining screws (3 and 4).

Tighten the screws to 9 Nm (80 in. lbs.).

2. Install the carrier plateSee: Service and Repair/Front Door Carrier Plate - Installation.

3. Install the window regulator motor (1) onto the carrier plate (2). If necessary, rotate the motor slightly to align the splines on the motor with the

window regulator linkage.

4. Install the three screws (3) that secure the window regulator motor to the carrier plate. Tighten the screws to 2.8 Nm (25 in. lbs.).
5. Connect the wire harness connector (4) to the window regulator motor.
