Hood Latch: Service and Repair
Hood Latch - Installation

INSTALLATION

1. Connect the latch release cable (2) to the latch (3).
2. Install the latch (3) and loosely install the bolts (1).
3. Line up the latch (3) with the marks on the radiator crossmember (4) made during removal.
4. Tighten the bolts (1) to ?? Nm (?? in. lbs.).

CAUTION: Prior to fully closing the hood, verify that the striker and latch are in alignment.

5. If required, adjust the hood and/or latch to the correct position.
