THIS BULLETIN SUPERSEDES SERVICE BULLETIN 08-021-10 REV. A, DATED AUGUST 21, 2010, WHICH SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM
YOUR FILES. THIS REVISION IS FOR ADDING THE RRT ONLY AND NO ASTERISKS HAVE BEEN USED TO HIGHLIGHT REVISIONS.
THE wiTECH DIAGNOSTIC APPLICATION IS THE PREFERRED METHOD FOR FLASHING ECUs.
HELP USING THE wiTECH DIAGNOSTIC APPLICATION FOR FLASHING AN ECU IS AVAILABLE BY SELECTING "HELP" THEN "HELP
CONTENTS" AT THE TOP OF THE wiTECH DIAGNOSTIC APPLICATION WINDOW.
THE wiTECH SOFTWARE LEVEL MUST BE AT RELEASE 11.01 OR HIGHER TO PERFORM THIS PROCEDURE.

Flash: Power Sliding Doors Inoperative
OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves flash reprogramming the Power Sliding Door Module Rear Left and/or Right (DMRL/DMRR) with new software.

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The Power sliding doors will not open from any of the switches. The doors will work in the manual mode. There may be Diagnostic Trouble Codes
(DTC) for B2271 - Left Rear Door Module Internal and/or B2272 - Right Rear Door Module Internal.
DIAGNOSIS:
If the customer states that the Power Sliding Doors can not be opened from any of the door switches. Perform the Repair Procedure. Using a Scan Tool
(wiTECH(TM)) with TechCONNECT and the appropriate Diagnostic Procedures, verify all other door systems are functioning as designed. If DTCs
other than the ones listed above are present, record them on the repair order and repair as necessary before proceeding further with this bulletin.
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
NOTE:
If this flash process is interrupted/aborted, the flash should be restarted.
1. Using the wiTECH Diagnostic Application for flashing a DMRL/DMRR is made available through the wiTECH Diagnostic Application. For
instructions select the "HELP tab on upper portion of the wiTECH window, then "HELP CONTENTS. This will open the Welcome to wiTECH
Help screen were help topics can now selected.
2. Clear any DTC's that may have been set in other modules due to reprogramming. The wiTECH application will automatically present all DTCs after
the flash and allow the tech to clear them.
