10. Rotate the parking brake cable (3) upward at the end and slide the button out of the lever (1) mechanism.
11. Collapse the front cable retainer fingers at the end of the cable housing (1) where it contacts the floor mounted bracket. Using an appropriate size
box wrench (2) works well to do this.
12. Pull the cable seal loose from the floor pan (4).
13. Pull the front parking brake cable (5) out of the vehicle through the hole in the floor pan (4).
