NOTE:
If the resonator has been in contact with the body, a witness mark should be visible and may be up to 12 mm (.5 in.) long due to exhaust expansion.
See # 3 below.

Loosen the rearmost hanger rod attached to the body near the resonator.

Rotate hanger rod counterclockwise until 13 - 16 mm (.5 - .62 in) of clearance is achieved. (Fig. 3)
NOTE:
Do not exceed 16 mm (.62 in.) of clearance by rotating hanger rod as this may result in excessive hanger isolator load or lack of clearance elsewhere
in system.

Tighten the hanger rod fastener while holding in the proper position. Torque to 28 N-m (250 in. lb).
7.
If noise persists, the issue may not be exhaust related and further diagnosis is required.
