Evaporative Emission Control Canister: Service and Repair
Vapor Canister - Removal
REMOVAL
WARNING: The fuel system is under constant pressure even with engine off. Before servicing any part of the fuel system, the pressure must be
released.
1. Remove fuel cap.
2. Release pressure in fuel system,See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Filter/Fuel Pressure Release/Service and Repair.
3. Remove hose clamp (1) and remove fuel fill hose from fuel tank.
4. Disconnect fuel pump electrical connector from body harness connector.
5. Disconnect fuel line quick connect fitting (1) and evaporator hose quick connect fitting (2).
