NOTE:
This notification applies only to the above vehicles built from
September 3, 2007 through March 17, 2008 (MDH 090319 through 031722).
IMPORTANT:
Only the above vehicles originally sold or currently registered in certain states are involved. See the "Owner Notification and Service Scheduling"
section for a list of states involved in this notification.
IMPORTANT:
Some of the involved vehicles may be in dealer vehicle inventory. Dealers should complete this repair on these vehicles before retail delivery.
Dealers should also perform this repair on vehicles in for service. Involved vehicles can be determined by using the VIP inquiry process.
Subject
The low pressure power steering hose on about 46,000 of the above vehicles may leak under certain extreme cold climate operating conditions. This
could result in a loss of power steering assist upon vehicle start up.
Repair
The low pressure power steering hose must be replaced.
