10. Remove the four hub and bearing mounting bolts from the rear of the steering knuckle (Figure 5).
11. Remove and discard the hub and bearing from the steering knuckle.
12. Clean the hub and bearing mounting surfaces on the steering knuckle and the halfshaft stub shaft splines. They must be smooth and completely free
of foreign material or nicks prior to installing the new hub and bearing assembly (Figure 6).
13. Make sure the isolation washer is located on the halfshaft stub shaft before installing the new hub and bearing assembly (Figure 6).
NOTE:
The isolation washer is bi-directional, and can be installed in either direction.
