Wiper Motor: Service and Repair
Wiper Motor - Removal

Front

REMOVAL

1. Remove the wiper module from the vehicle.See: Wiper Module - Removal
2. Remove the wiper links from the wiper motor crank.
3. Remove the 3 screws that attach the wiper motor to the module bracket.
4. Remove the motor from the module bracket leaving the crank attached to the motor.

Rear

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove rear wiper arm.See: Wiper Arm/Service and Repair/Wiper Arms - Removal
3. Open liftgate.
4. Remove liftgate trim panel.See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Trunk / Liftgate Interior Trim Panel/Service and

Repair/Liftgate Trim Panel - Removal.

5. Disconnect wire connector from rear wiper motor.
6. Remove screws holding rear wiper motor to liftgate.
7. Remove wiper motor (1) from liftgate.
