Press the crossbar stanchion lock lever to disengage the crossbar lock from the side rail (Fig. 3). Repeat for the other side.

Working from side to side, slide the front crossbar toward the front of the vehicle keeping the crossbar close to perpendicular with the side rails.
Continue moving the crossbar until it is disengaged from the side rails. Repeat for the rear crossbar.
NOTE:
NO TOOLS ARE REQUIRED TO REMOVE OR INSTALL THE CROSSBARS TO THE SIDE RAILS.

Place the end stanchions of a revised crossbar onto the side rails where the end covers have been moved from.
NOTE:
THE ARROWS OF THE LABEL (ALSO STAMPED INTO THE BOTTOM SURFACE) ON CROSSBARS MUST POINT TO THE FRONT OF
THE VEHICLE.
6.
Slide the cross bar rearward guiding the stanchions into the opening of the side rails, the stanchion clamp will engage the side rail flange (Fig. 4).
