REPAIR PROCEDURE:

This bulletin involves either cleaning paint from the A/C suction/liquid line fitting or replacing the A/C suction/liquid line.

1.

If the dimensions of the fitting to the tube meet or exceed the minimums, use a wire wheel to carefully remove any paint that is on the area of the
fitting indicated in Figure 2.

2.

If the dimensions of the fitting to the tube do not meet or exceed the minimums, use the procedure outined in the appropriate service manual to
replace the A/C suction/liquid line.

Refer to the 1993 Front Wheel Drive Time Schedule Manual for labor operation number and time allowance if it is necessary to replace the line.
