NOTE:
THIS BULLETIN APPLIES TO VEHICLES BUILT PRIOR TO 11/1/92 (MDH 1101XX) AND EQUIPPED WITH CHILD SEAT OPTION (SALES
CODE CYK).

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:

Some subject vehicles may exhibit a rattle from the child seat head restraint.

DIAGNOSIS:

While driving the vehicle over a rough road surface, listen for rattling from the child seat head restraint(s).

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

This bulletin involves replacing the child seat head restraint.

Using the procedures outlined on pages 23-14 and 23-15 of the 1993 Front Wheel Drive/All Wheel Drive Van/Wagon Service Manual
(Publication Number 81-370-3105), replace the head restraint with revised restraint (P/N 4741648).

NOTE:
DURING REASSEMBLY, BE SURE TO ROUTE THE HEAD RESTRAINT LATCH RELEASE STRAP THROUGH THE ELASTIC LOOP ON
THE SEAT BACK UPHOLSTERY.
