DISCUSSION:
Some of the subject vehicles have hot melt glue bonding the power door lock switch to the door trim panel power door lock bezel. When servicing either
the switch or the bezel on these vehicles, it is necessary to replace both parts.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
This bulletin involves replacing a power door lock switch and bezel.
1.
While pulling out on the inside door release handle, remove the one Phillips head screw attaching the bezel to the door panel.
2.
Remove the bezel from the door panel.
3.
Disconnect the wiring from the switch.
4.
Assemble the new switch to the new bezel by engaging the retaining clips.
5.
Connect the wiring to the switch.
6.
Position the bezel/switch assembly over the inside door release handle and into the door panel.
7.
Attach the bezel/switch assembly to the door panel with the screw removed in step 1.
