Bond the new seatback heater elements to the seatback foam as shown in Figure 9.
CAUTION:
During the installation of the new heating elements, be careful not to fold or crease the element assemblies.
NOTE:
There are two seat heater elements in each repair kit. Use the one marked "BACK" for the seatback (Figure 9).
NOTE:
The paper backing on each heating element has a release slot cut into it to ease backing removal. The slot is located next to the white tape that
secures the wires to the heating element.

Carefully pull the seatback cover over the seatback foam and new seatback heating elements. Secure the cover by engaging the J-strip retainers.

Install the arm rest onto the seatback. Tighten the screw securely and install the screw cover.

If removed, install the seatback grab handle, headrest tubes and headrest.
26.
If equipped, install the lumbar support lever from the seatback.
27.
Install the seat cushion assembly into position on the seat track.
28.
Install the four (4) seat cushion pan mounting bolts and tighten them to 252 in.lbs. (28 N.m).
29.
Install the right and left side panels onto the seat.
30.
Connect the electrical connections for the seat heater elements as follows:

Connect the black cushion connector to the element harness under the cushion pan.
>
Connect the green cushion connector to the green seatback element connector.
31.
Repeat Steps 9 through 30 on the other seat.
