Remove the four seat attachment nuts from each front seat (Figure 1).

Lower the vehicle.
7.
Disconnect the seat wiring harness connector located under the seat.
8.
With the help of an assistant, remove the front seats from the vehicle.
NOTE:
Perform all seat repairs on a clean work surface.
9.
Unhook the J-strip retainer that holds the front seat rear carpet flap. The flap is located at the bottom of the seat cushion.
10.
Remove the right and left side covers from the seat cushion.
11.
Remove the metal seat bracket from the seat cushion (Figure 2).
