Disconnect the green two way connector that is located on the back side of the seat cushion.

Disconnect the two 4-way connectors at the rear of the seat pan.
14.
Remove the four metal seat cushion pan retaining bolts (Figure 3).
15.
Lift the seat cushion assembly from the seat track.
16.
Install the new seat cushion heater element using the following procedure:
a.
Remove and discard the wiring harness and seat module located on the metal seat pan.
b.
Unhook the J-strip retainers on the seat cushion cover from the metal seat pan and remove the metal seat pan from the cushion. Then remove
the seat foam from the seat cover.
CAUTION:
Use extreme care when removing the seat cover from the seat cushion foam. The hook and loop strip that holds the seat cover to the seat
cushion foam trench could rip loose from the foam before the fasteners separate. Wedge a plastic trim stick between the two sides of the hook
and loop strips to disengage the strips. Pulling on one side of the strip without holding the other side will pull the strip off the foam before the
two pieces separate. Should the hook and loop fastener separate from the foam, use P/N 04773774 adhesive or equivalent to bond the strip
onto the seat foam.
