Cut the heater core outlet hose completely through 127 mm (5.0 in.) up from the return pipe.

Install the bypass hose, p/n 05179289AA, with the loop toward the right (passenger) side of the vehicle.
NOTE:
Be sure the bypass hose loop has sufficient clearance and does not come in contact with spark plug wires, other hoses etc..

Install the 6 in. piece of convolute, included in the hose kit, around the # 3 spark plug wire.
7.
Properly position the heater hose clamps (4) with the 6094 heater hose clamp tool.
