Locate the power steering fluid cooler on the front side of the front crossmember reinforcement (Figure 1).

Using hose clamp pliers, slide the two (2) hose clamps off of the cooler inlet hose and then remove the inlet hose (Figure 1). Discard the hose and
clamps.

Install two (2) of the provided clamps on one of the supplied hoses and then install the hose on the cooler and power steering line (Figure 1). Using
hose clamp pliers, slide the clamps into position.
NOTE:
Be sure that the hose clamps are installed on the hose past the upset bead on the tubes.

Using hose clamp pliers, slide the two (2) hose clamps off of the cooler outlet hose and then remove the outlet hose (Figure 1). Discard the hose
and clamps.
IMPORTANT:
The cooler outlet hose does NOT require replacement if the vehicle has had a power steering return hose loop installed to correct a steering
shudder complaint (per TSB 19-010-01 or 19-006-02) (Figure 2).
9.
Install two (2) of the provided clamps on the other supplied hose and then install the hose on the cooler and power steering line (Figure 1). Using
hose clamp pliers, slide the clamps into position.
