NOTE:
If the seat has already had Service Bulletin 08-012-01 performed, a peel and stick style heating element has already been applied to the seat foam.
Using a razor knife, cut off the wires and any areas of the old peel and stick style heating element that are not bonded to the foam (Figure 4). DO
NOT attempt to peal off the old heating element from the foam.
Apply the new heating element directly over the old heating element.

Place the hook and loop strips on the new heating element in the trench of the seat foam as shown in Figure 5.
CAUTION:
Verify that the heater element is correctly orientated before
gluing the element to the seat cushion.

Remove the paper backing from the heating element and bond the heating element to the foam as shown in Figure 5.

With the foam cushion in the upright position, route the wires attached to the new heating elements towards the back of the seat cushion.
